Cymbalta 30mg
Started taking once a day, increased to two a day.
This is an anti-depressant. Apparently takes several weeks to start taking affect.
It is also used as a pain reliever.
Why I took it:
My psychologist diagnosed me with clinical depression. My neurologist prescribed Celexa first, but due to constipation caused by Celexa, I was switched to Cymbalta.
Why I no longer take it:
I didn't give the medication long enough to do it's job, but I felt no better or worse than the day I started it.
The primary reason is the withdrawal symptoms. I did not want to deal with them later on.
Stopped taking Cymbalta without consulting with a doctor first.
How long I took it:
One month.
